Man calls off daughter's marriage over dance performance by groom

A wedding ceremony in Delhi was abruptly canceled after the groom's dance performance to the Bollywood song "Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai" provoked the ire of the bride's father.

The incident, which occurred in New Delhi, rapidly gained attention on social media platforms.

The groom arrived at the venue with his baraat, accompanied by friends and family. As the festivities progressed, his friends encouraged him to take to the dance floor.

When the well-known Bollywood track began to play, the groom joined in, eliciting laughter from some attendees.

However, the bride's father did not find the performance amusing.

Offended by what he considered an inappropriate display, he intervened and promptly called off the wedding, asserting that the groom's behavior was a violation of his family's values.

Despite the groom's attempts to persuade the father, claiming that the dance was intended as harmless entertainment, his efforts were in vain.

The father remained resolute, refusing to allow the wedding to continue and reportedly prohibiting any further communication between his daughter and the groom's family.
