Gold price continues upward trend in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday following an upward trend in international markets.

According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold increased by Rs1,600 per tola, reaching Rs359,700 in the local market.

The price of 10 grams of gold also saw an uptick, climbing by Rs1,371 to settle at Rs308,384.

This rise follows a similar movement recorded on Saturday, when the gold price per tola had increased by Rs1,100 to reach Rs358,100.

In the international market, gold was trading at $3,372 per ounce on Monday, reflecting a $16 gain, inclusive of a $20 premium, according to APGJSA figures.

Silver prices also recorded a notable increase, with the price per tola rising by Rs65 to Rs4,087.
