Gold prices jump Rs11,300 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices climbed sharply in the domestic market on Thursday following a rise in international bullion markets.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold jumped by Rs11,300 per tola, taking it to Rs449,236.

The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs9,688, reaching Rs385,147.

A day earlier, gold had gained Rs10,000 per tola to close at Rs437,936.

In the international market, gold prices surged by $113 to $4,268 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Silver prices also moved higher, rising by Rs35 per tola to Rs6,659.
