Gold price gains Rs1,100 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Saturday following gains seen in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose by Rs1,100 per tola, reaching Rs358,100.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs944, settling at Rs307,013.

This follows a Rs2,300 per tola gain recorded on Friday, when the price stood at Rs357,000.

The international gold rate also climbed on Saturday, reaching $3,356 per ounce (including a $20 premium), up by $11 from the previous day, according to APGJSA.

In addition, silver prices saw an increase, with the per tola rate rising by Rs85 to Rs4,022.
