Gold price in Pakistan continues downward trend

Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Tuesday in line with the downward trend in global markets.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola in the local market fell by Rs1,000, settling at Rs361,300.Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold declined by Rs857, bringing it down to Rs309,756.
On the previous day, Monday, the per tola price stood at Rs362,300 after a decrease of Rs700.
Internationally, gold prices also saw a dip on Tuesday, with the rate falling by $16 to $3,398 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as reported by the APGJSA.
In contrast, silver prices rose, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs69 to reach Rs3,856.
