Gold prices fall by Rs2,300 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices declined in domestic market on Thursday in line with a drop in the international market.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,300 to settle at Rs452,963. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs2,070 to Rs387,615, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

A day earlier, gold had risen by Rs100 per tola to reach Rs455,236.

In the international market, the price of gold fell by $23 to $4,305 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded a decline, dropping by Rs144 per tola to settle at Rs7,359.
