Gold prices gain Rs600 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded an increase on Wednesday, mirroring gains in the international market.
According to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose by Rs600 per tola, settling at Rs352,900 in the local market.
The price of 10 grams of gold also saw an increase of Rs514, reaching Rs302,554.
This follows a sharp drop in domestic gold rates a day earlier, when the price per tola declined by Rs6,100 to close at Rs352,300.
Globally, gold prices also experienced a modest rise. The international rate climbed by $6 to reach $3,345 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium, according to APGJSA data.
In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged, with the rate holding steady at Rs3,745 per tola.
