Asim Azhar responds to rumours about Merub Ali’s viral concert video

Renowned singer Asim Azhar has addressed the rumors about his ex-fiancée Merub Ali attending his recent concert, urging entertainment pages on social media to verify information before posting.

Asim Azhar has been making headlines since October with the release of his debut solo album, which reportedly features Hania Aamir.

The Bulleya vocalist dominated social media and was trending widely, but recently he took to Instagram to dismiss the speculations regarding the videos in which his ex-fiancée, Merub was seen enjoying his concert.

Several social media pages shared the clips claiming that the two are still friends, to which Asim responded in an strong tone. 

“I want to address a few entertainment pages that have been misleading the public. I really expect better reporting in the name of journalism,” he stated on his Instagram story.

He further added, “Please do not spread old videos without context. Do some research first.”

In his statement, Asim emphasized responsible journalism and urged media outlets to verify facts before posting misleading content. He further added “Entertainment pages are followed by millions in total, surely you have a responsibility to project correct information and context.”
