Veteran actress Bushra Ansari, responding to Indian writer Javed Akhtar, reminded him of the warm welcome and love he has always received in Pakistan, criticizing him for tarnishing Pakistan’s image to maintain his reputation in India.

Taking to Instagram, she shared her opinion in a video with the caption,"We are not fools! So Indian policy makers should be careful ful when they mess up with subcontinent!!"

The statement came after Javed Akhtar accused Pakistan of terrorism in Mumbai and Pahalgam, stating that those involved in terrorism were roaming across India.

After India severed ties with Pakistan in the wake of the Pahalgam attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Javed Akhtar also criticised Pakistan and stated that India always welcomes Pakistani artists, including Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Mehdi Hassan, with a warm heart.

He further complained that legendary Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar was never invited to Pakistan and Indian celebrities did not receive a warm reception.

Bushra Ansari lashed out at prominent Indian personalities for fueling hatred between the two countries.

She claimed Akhtar makes such statements “because he was once denied a rental house in Mumbai,” and now attempts to salvage his reputation in India by defaming Pakistan.

She added, “With only two hours left in your life and you're engaging in such superfluous talk."

She empahsised that the people of India and Pakistan 'are not inherently bad; they are innocent individuals but are being manipulated by powerful figures to escalate tensions and obstruct peace.'

"“There is no hatred between the common people of both nations,” she said. “But influential figures continue to incite division.”

Bushra Ansari also slammed notorious Indian news anchor Arnab Goswami, stating, "He doesn't even talk; he just fights. He's actually out of his mind."

The actress urged the Indian government to reconsider policies troubling its own citizens.

She strongly condemned the repatriation of women who had moved to India after marriage, saying, “Denying them visas is a cruelty even worse than partition. India is separating a one-year-old child from her mother.”

Ansari concluded by alleging that such actions were part of a broader campaign to harass Muslims under false pretenses.
