A local court in Lahore has set December 20 as the date to frame charges against YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, in a case related to the promotion of gambling applications on social media.
Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo presided over the hearing, during which Ducky Bhai, his wife Aroob Jatoi, and other co-accused appeared before the court.
The court ordered all accused — including Ducky Bhai and his wife — to ensure their presence on December 20 for the formal indictment proceedings.
Meanwhile, Ducky Bhai filed a petition seeking the return of his confiscated items, including his laptop and mobile phone. The court subsequently sought a report on the matter from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency.
The court also rejected a plea for acquittal filed by co-accused Subhan.
It is worth noting that the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency had registered the case, alleging that the accused promoted and encouraged the use of gambling applications.
