Faysal Quraishi backs Fahad Mustafa amid controversy over Rajab Butt’s scathing remarks

Renowned actor Faysal Qureshi offered his perspective regarding the ongoing row between Fahad Mustafa and Rajab Butt. He asserted that Fahad’s remarks were not aimed at any specific individual and emphasised the importance of younger artists showing respect to their seniors.

While hosting a Ramadan show on a private TV channel, Faysal Qureshi discussed the controversy, sparked by Rajab Butt’s criticism of Fahad Mustafa, with his guest, veteran actress Saba Faisal.

The actor acknowledged that the younger generation in the entertainment industry is generally more sensible and respectful toward their seniors.

However, he stressed that if a senior makes a remark that a younger artist finds inappropriate, "it should be addressed privately rather than turned into a public controversy."

Addressing Fahad Mustafa’s remarks on family vlogging, which were rebuffed by Rajab Butt, Faysal defended his fellow actor, stating, "I am sure he didn’t mean to target anyone. It wasn’t directed at any individual but was said from a different perspective. I am certain he had no intention of hurting anyone."

He further added, "Everyone knows that Fahad Mustafa is like a younger brother to me, and I know him very well. We also had differences with our seniors, but I never responded disrespectfully or showed any disregard toward them."

Earlier, when asked about Fahad Mustafa’s stance on family vlogging, Rajab Butt dismissed the actor, refusing to recognise him and saying, "A senior earns respect through their actions."

Butt further stated that he does not fear anyone and criticised Fahad Mustafa’s game show, insinuating that "everyone knows what it takes to get a role in a drama."
