Actor Shamoon Abbasi called out YouTuber Rajab Butt for criticising Fahad Mustafa over his remarks against family vlogging, stating that such 'arrogant' behavior was inappropriate toward a 'hardworking' star of the Pakistani entertainment industry.
Earlier, when asked about Fahad Mustafa’s stance on family vlogging, Rajab Butt dismissed the actor, refusing to recognise him and saying, "A senior earns respect through their actions."
Butt further stated that he does not fear anyone and criticised Fahad Mustafa’s game show, insinuating that "everyone knows what it takes to get a role in a drama."
Taking to Instagram, Shamoon Abbasi defended Fahad Mustafa, saying, "Actors dedicate at least 25 years to their craft before making a name for themselves in the industry."

He elaborated that actors "work under tough conditions, endure physical strain, and face financial difficulties due to delayed payments or long waiting periods for co-stars to be available."
Shamoon asserted that the struggles actors endure cannot be fully understood by YouTubers, whose work "is not as difficult." However, he clarified that he was not trying to undermine anyone.
Expressing his disappointment, Shamoon said, "I am disappointed by the arrogant way you spoke to my brother, Fahad Mustafa."
He emphasised Fahad Mustafa’s decade-long hard work in establishing himself as a top star in Pakistan’s entertainment industry.

Shamoon further pointed out that those who gain fame through digital platforms like YouTube should remember that "if these platforms were to cease or get banned, their fame would disappear overnight."
"Meanwhile, Fahad Mustafa and other actors will continue their work, and their popularity will remain intact because their success is not dependent on digital platforms," Shamoon remarked.
He concluded with a message of humility, stating, "When God grants you fame, try to carry it with humility," and cautioned against using fame to develop arrogance or belittle others.
Shamoon also warned Rajab Butt that his fame is solely driven by digital followers, and if such platforms no longer existed, neither would his audience.
