Renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam said his journey in India was a blessing, where he not only found work but also rose to fame and stardom.
In a recent interview with an Indian journalist, the 'Tere Bin' spoke candidly about his career and shared fond memories of his time in Bollywood.
He praised Indian musicians Shekhar Ravjiani and Mithoon and recalled his early collaborations with them when all were at the beginning of their careers.
“Shekhar not only understands poetry but also music deeply, while working with Mithoon was a special memory as we both were just starting our careers,” he noted.
The singer expressed joy over having sung many songs picturised on Salman Khan, saying that his work for the superstar remains a highlight of his career.

Reflecting on the current political tensions, Aslam said he cannot visit India at the moment but deeply misses his fans and colleagues there.
He acknowledged that Pakistan’s showbiz industry is not as vast as Bollywood and lacks a strong concept of “superstars,” making his success across the border even more meaningful.
“Pakistan may not have many stars, but God chose me to shine in Bollywood, a place already filled with big names, and I became a star there. Those memories are still very close to my heart,” he added.
