Renowned actress Nadia Afghan criticised actor Feroze Khan’s repetitive acting style, claiming he always appears in a “hero mode” and rarely explores versatile or emotionally layered characters.

During a recent appearance on a talk show, where she reviewed several popular ongoing dramas, Nadia shared her thoughts on Humraaz, which stars Ayeza Khan, Zahid Ahmed, and Feroze Khan in lead roles.

Commenting on the storyline, Nadia expressed disappointment with the drama’s writing and also took issue with Feroze Khan’s performance, describing it as monotonous and lacking emotional range.

“That boy is always a hero. He is never normal,” she remarked wihtout explicitly mentioned Feroze Khan's name.

She pointed out that his portrayal in Humraaz follows the same aggressive and macho pattern seen in his previous roles.

“He’s always in hero mode,” she added, emphasising that every character should be able to express a variety of emotions and not just project the same tone throughout the performance.

Recalling one of his earlier dramas, Nadia humorously noted a scene where Feroze is frequently shown bathing in a swimming pool. “One cannot be a hero all the time,” she said, suggesting that actors must also show vulnerability and depth.

Despite her criticism, Nadia did offer one compliment, pointing out that while most male leads in dramas tend to have similar hairstyles, Feroze’s look stood out in a refreshing way.
