I was set to star with Madhuri Dixit in Dedh Ishqiya, reveals Adnan Shah Tipu

Renowned actor Adnan Shah Tipu revealed that he was going to star alongside Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit in a movie but the role eventually went to another actor.

He expressed disappointment at missing the opportunity to collaborate with his favourite Bollywood actor.

Adnan Shah Tipu recently appeared on a podcast where host Faisal Qureshi asked him about a Facebook post he had shared regarding an opportunity to work with Madhuri Dixit in the film "Dedh Ishqiya."

In response, the In Flames star revealed that he had auditioned several times for the film Dedh Ishqiya and was initially cast to play the role of Nawab, which was later played by actor Vijay Raaz.

Imran Abbas recommended Adnan Shah Tipu to Indian filmmakers who had asked him to suggest an actor capable of effectively portraying the character.

The actor expressed admiration for Madhuri Dixit and stated his desire to work with her.

Tipu shared that he was eager to play the role of Nawab in the film "Dedh Ishqiya" primarily because of the opportunity to work with her.

He thanked God for blessing him with several other opportunities and achievements in the entertainment industry.

Speaking about his appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, Adnan Shah Tipu described the experience as something beyond words, adding that the atmosphere was magical as thousands of artists gathered at the event to celebrate their work.
