YouTube has unveiled its end-of-year list, highlighting the top trending videos, music videos, and creators in Pakistan for 2024.

The data reflects the country’s shifting video preferences and information consumption patterns over the year.

Top Trending Videos

Entertainment dominated the list, with local dramas and action-packed films taking center stage. The top three trending videos were:

  • Ishq Murshid - Episode 20
  • Jaan Nisar - Episode 01

Top Creators

The list of top creators reflected a growing interest in lifestyle, healthcare, and educational content. The leading creators were:

  • Rajab’s Family
  • Anaya Eshaal Family
  • Arshad Reels

Other notable creators included Ducky Bhai, Dr Imtiaz Ahmad, and Chota Ali Vlogs.

This year also saw a significant increase in content creation by Pakistani users. Local creators uploaded 60% more content in 2024 compared to the previous year. Additionally, there was a 25% increase in the number of creators earning over Rs10 million annually from the platform.

Farhan Qureshi, Google’s Country Director for Pakistan, noted that over 65% of watch time on Pakistani content comes from viewers outside the country, demonstrating the global reach of local creators.
