Veteran actor Hina Khawaja Bayat expressed her profound love for her husband, Roger Dawood Bayat, on the first anniversary of his passing, stating that she never envisioned a life without her beloved partner.

Taking to Instagram, she penned a heartfelt note, accompanied by an endearing video showcasing moments from the couple's shared journey, reflecting the beautiful experiences they had together.

“4th January 2023...My world fell apart..I did not know how to live without you..IF I could live without you! Today, one year later...The meaning of life has changed for me. I am alive, living, breathing, carrying on...Finally understanding, what your last words to me meant...."Allah Hai Na!"

Hina added that she is excited to be reunited with her husband in the afterworld, noting, “Your eeman is now my strength. I live each day with gratitude & in anticipation of the day we will be reunited - Insha'ALLAH! Until then, I will keep missing You...My biggest loss... my biggest blessing.”

In a previous interview, the seasoned actor shared her experience of facing criticism on social media, “where people questioned why she didn't complete the Iddat, questioned the sincerity of my love for husband, and made remarks that these women love to appear in front of the camera with only makeup on.”

She explained her decision by pointing out that “when my husband passed away, one of my projects was scheduled to be aired on TV. If I had refrained from work during that time, it would have affected many people."

The 'Churails' actor clarified that “certain conditions of Iddat are not obligatory to follow, especially when a woman is responsible for running her own household without external support.”

Hina argued that people often rush to criticise others without considering their circumstances, often neglecting the sensitivity of personal situations that may not be shared publicly.
