Veteran actress and activist Nadia Jamil shared the heartwarming and inspiring journey of her foster son, Sabir, whom she adopted at the age of four when he was a bonded laborer at a brick kiln in Punjab after the death of his parents.
Taking to X, Jamil expressed immense pride and joy as she reflected on how Sabir transformed his life, from a child laborer to an educated young professional who now runs his own business.
Recalling how she rescued Sabir, Jamil wrote, “He was a tiny, orphaned, bonded labourer at a brick kiln in Punjab. His late parents owed 2.5 lacs to the brick factory owner. A few weeks into meeting him, we put a case on the unregistered kiln and one sunny afternoon, Sabir came into our home and our life.”

Jamil proudly shared that he recently bought his own bike and completed an internship in Karachi.
“He has grown into one of the finest, most hardworking, patient, bright and wonderful men. He will be applying for jobs soon,” she wrote, beaming with pride.
In addition to his job hunt, Sabir has also launched his own solar panel cleaning business, marking his first step into entrepreneurship.
Jamil requested her followers to pray for Sabir’s continued success and encouraged them to support his startup by availing its services.
