Taking aim at the actor and screenwriter, Nadia criticised him for "wasting the channel’s money and the artists’ time" with what she called a poorly executed drama.
Amid backlash over her blunt criticism of fellow Pakistani actors, several celebrities accused Nadia of being disrespectful and unnecessarily harsh in her public remarks.
In response, she had issued a legal warning, threatening action against anchors or actors who made inappropriate or defamatory comments about her.

"I don’t need anyone’s rating. I’ve done what I had to do. You should reflect on the ratings of your drama Paradise, where you wasted not only the channel’s money but also the artists’ time. Focus, and do something better next time," the former morning show host wrote on her Instagram story.

Nadia Khan had earlier criticised the drama Paradise, directed by Yasir Hussain and starring Iqra Aziz and Shuja Asad. She gave the series just 4 points and said a director had once told her, “If you don’t like a drama, why even give it a four?”
In response, Yasir had hit back saying he would give Nadia Khan 1.5 points for her entire career in hosting and acting.
