Nadia Khan praises Hania Aamir’s Bollywood debut after previously criticising her

Host and actress Nadia Khan praised Hania Aamir’s upcoming Bollywood film with Indian actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh, despite her earlier criticism when Hania was rumored to have joined the cast amid rising tensions between Pakistan and India.

Previously, Nadia had openly criticised Hania Aamir, along with other Pakistani actors including Fawad Khan and Danish Taimoor for not speaking up in support of Pakistan or condemning India over terrorism allegations.

“She is wasting her time with the Indian PR. Now she’s doing a film with Diljit Dosanjh, she should focus elsewhere,” Nadia had commented earlier when rumors about Hania’s casting in the film surfaced.

However, with the official trailer of Sardaar Ji 3 now out, starring Hania Aamir and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles, Nadia changed her tone and expressed admiration for the project, especially for how the team handled backlash and boycott threats in India.

Speaking about the film, Nadia said,“Hania Aamir and Diljit Dosanjh’s film is finally releasing after numerous rumors, controversies, and hearsay regarding Hania Aamir’s removal and reshoots due to the Pakistan-India conflict.”

 “Do whatever you can, wah!” she added with pride. “The film is releasing with Hania Aamir of Pakistan in the lead.”

Nadia also praised the Sikh filmmakers and Diljit Dosanjh for their resilience and silence throughout the controversy.

“The makers, the actor, all are Sikhs who fear no one, and I admire their strategy. They stayed silent, didn’t respond to any speculation, and let people believe Hania had been removed. Diljit Dosanjh also remained quiet.”

 “Now, the trailer is out and Hania is everywhere. Meanwhile, there are calls for a ban in India, and Diljit Dosanjh is being labeled a traitor,” she added.
