Probe finds PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar guilty of harassing actor Momina Iqbal, NCCIA official tells Lahore court

LAHORE: An official from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) on Tuesday told the sessions court that MPA from PML-N Saqib Chadhar was guilty of harassing actress Momina Iqbal after investigation.

This was stated by NCCIA Lahore SHO Najam Bajwa while filing pre-arrest bail pleas of the MPA and his wife, both mentioned in FIR against him registered by Momina Iqbal after her harassment claims.

Chadhar and his wife were called to appear in the court after the expiration of their previous interim bail plea.

During the hearing, SHO Najam Bajwa informed the court that the investigation against Chadhar was completed and he was declared guilty of the allegations made by Iqbal.

Moreover, he added that the wife of Chadhar had surrendered her mobile phone to NCCIA two days back and the mobile had been sent for forensic analysis.

On the other hand, the lawyer of Iqbal requested the court to reject the bail plea of the accused as their release would create problems for his client.

Then, the court postponed the hearing by giving another extension to the bail of Chadhar and his wife until September 3rd and instructed both parties to present their final arguments in the next hearing.

Both Chadhar and his wife had obtained pre-arrest bail on June 5th, which was just a day after NCCIA had filed the case against them.
