Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers and supporters stage a protest in Italy to demand the release of former prime minister Imran Khan who is incarcerated in Adiala Jail.
According to video, over 10,000 people attended the protest in Italy and chanted slogans in favour of incarcerated PTI founder Imran Khan.
The protesters demanded immediate release of the former prime minister.
PTI supporters also staged protests in Australia, United Kingdom and United States.
Ahead of the do-or-die protest in Islamabad, US-based PTI workers gathered outside the house of US-president Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, and demonstrated for the party founder's release, as they believe Trump will stress the Pakistani authority to release Imran Khan from prison.
“I stand with Imran Khan,” and “Release Imran Khan” protesters's placards read.
Demonstrators expressed their solidarity with the former premier and the workers going towards Islamabad for the release of Imran Khan amidst ongoing political instability.
