YouTuber Rajab Butt responds to criticism over treatment of wife in recent vlog

YouTuber Rajab Butt responded to growing criticism over his recent vlog, in which many social media users felt he disrespected his wife, Emaan, on camera. In a clarification video, Rajab addressed the backlash, emphasising that the viral moment was misunderstood and that people were trying to create unnecessary problems in his personal life.

Rajab explained that his wife, Emaan, is a housewife who is not familiar with the world of acting, jokes, or social media trends.

“People are trying to create issues in my home just by watching my vlogs. Social media has already destroyed many families, and now some are trying to ruin mine too,” he said. “But I won’t allow it. If things go too far, I will delete all my social media accounts.”

He added, “There’s a big misunderstanding about me and Emaan. Many of our fans are worried about our relationship, but I want to clarify that Emaan is a sensitive person. She doesn’t understand how social media works, and this criticism is too much for her to bear.”

Addressing accusations of mistreatment, Rajab said, “People are saying I ignore or disrespect my wife. Yes, I don’t interact much with her in front of the camera because she’s not my ‘camera wife’, she’s my real wife. And right now, she’s unwell.”

He also announced that Emaan will no longer appear in his vlogs 'unless doctor allows her' due to her health. “She’s not comfortable on camera. She can’t act, she can’t express herself properly, and right now, her condition doesn’t allow her to appear on camera.”

Defending his on-camera behavior, Rajab said, “Emaan doesn’t understand jokes or acting, so I avoided joking in the vlog. Some viewers misunderstood that as me insulting or ignoring her, which is far from the truth. I could never think of disrespecting my wife, if I ever did, my mother would break my jaw.”

In a vlog clip that sparked the controversy, Rajab was seen offering food to his sister Ghazal while seemingly ignoring Emaan and making fun of her. The moment upset many viewers, who then criticised the YouTuber for his behavior.

Rajab concluded by saying that his relationship with Emaan is strong, and the online assumptions do not reflect the reality of their marriage.
