The United States did not deploy bunker-buster bombs during its airstrike on Iran's Isfahan nuclear facility, according to a recent report by American media.
The report cites that the site contained 60% enriched uranium and that bunker-buster bombs would not have been effective in this context.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Kane reportedly informed U.S. senators that such munitions were deemed unsuitable for the Isfahan strike.
However, the report confirms that bunker-buster bombs were used against Iran's Fordow and Natanz nuclear sites.
