Zac Goldsmith appeals to global community for Imran Khan's safety

Zac Goldsmith, brother of Jemima Goldsmith and former brother-in-law of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, has made an urgent appeal to the international community regarding former PM’s safety.

In a post on his X account (formerly Twitter), Zac highlighted that Pakistan's ruling elite is well aware of Imran Khan’s immense popularity among the masses despite his imprisonment in Adiala Jail.

Goldsmith expressed grave concerns about the risks to Khan’s life, stating, "Reports indicate that the situation in Pakistan has become extremely dangerous for him. Those in power are willing to go to any extent to maintain their control."

Meanwhile, Pakistan's Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has denied any threats to Khan's life, assuring the public of his safety.

Zac Goldsmith warned that any drastic measures against Khan would not only endanger the former prime minister but also have serious consequences for Pakistan's stability. He urged the global community to take a strong stance for Khan’s protection.
