4.2 magnitude earthquake strikes parts of Balochistan

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 was reported in Balochistan's Zhob and surrounding areas on Thursday morning.
The tremors were felt at around 4:40 am, with the epicenter located 123 km north of Zhob.
Fortunately, there were no reported casualties or property damage, according to the district administration.
This event follows a previous earthquake on January 11, where severe tremors with a magnitude of 6 were felt in various parts of Pakistan, including Swat, Kohat, Lahore, Mardan, Islamabad, Abbottabad, Pindaddan Khan, Sargodha, and Peshawar.
On January 6, Quetta and its surroundings experienced significant tremors with a magnitude of 4.6, originating 98 km underground in the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan, according to the 'Seismological Center.'
