At least 30 passengers bound for China, Saudi Arabia, and other countries were offloaded from a flight at Jinnah International Airport on Wednesday.
According to sources, 11 passengers were destined for China and Malaysia, 10 for Saudi Arabia, four for Oman, two for Tanzania, and two for Uganda and Bangladesh.
Of the passengers traveling to Saudi Arabia, five held Umrah visas, two had business visas, two had work visas, and one was on a personal visit visa.
Officials stated that the passengers failed to provide satisfactory evidence of advance hotel bookings, travel funds, and other required documents when questioned by authorities.
This development follows the deportation of 51 Pakistani nationals from seven countries for alleged involvement in begging and human trafficking. Within 24 hours, deportees from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom were repatriated to Pakistan.
Among the deportees, 33 arrived from Saudi Arabia and 14 from Iran, all possessing travel documents. Additionally, Oman, Zambia, and Qatar each deported one Pakistani during the same period, according to immigration sources.
Authorities are ramping up efforts to combat human trafficking and ensure that passengers comply with legal travel requirements. Investigations into the offloaded passengers are currently underway.
