Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party and former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has arrived in New York, leading a high-level Pakistani delegation.

The purpose of the visit is to present Pakistan's case at the international level against India's escalating war rhetoric. The delegation will remain in New York until June 2.

According to sources, the Pakistani delegation will hold significant meetings with the United Nations Secretary-General and members of the Security Council, during which Pakistan will strongly present its stance regarding recent Pakistan-India tensions.

The delegation will also brief the OIC group in New York.

On Tuesday, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto is scheduled to meet representatives of the United Nations Correspondents Association to discuss strategies for effectively communicating Pakistan’s position to the global media.

On June 3, the delegation will travel to Washington, where they will stay until June 6.

During this leg of the visit, they are expected to meet with U.S. officials, think tanks, members of the Pakistani diaspora, journalists, and subject-matter experts to exchange views on key bilateral and regional issues.
