CTD files interim charge sheet against Anmol Pinky

Karachi: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has submitted an interim charge sheet in the City Court in a narcotics case involving alleged drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky.

According to the charge sheet, 21 criminal cases have been registered against Anmol. The document names Anmol alias Manzah alias Pinky, her brother Nasir, Ainullah, and Maysar Ali alias Atif as the accused in the case.

The interim charge sheet states that Maysar Ali, Nasir, and Ainullah were arrested in the Akhtar Colony area, where police allegedly recovered a large quantity of hashish and cocaine from their possession.

During interrogation, Maysar Ali reportedly told investigators that a man identified as Aamir had informed him that he worked for "Madam Pinky." He further claimed that Aamir connected him with Pinky over the phone.

According to the charge sheet, the suspects alleged that they supplied narcotics across Karachi on Pinky's instructions. They claimed that the street price of one gram of drugs ranged between Rs12,000 and Rs15,000, with the rates allegedly set by Pinky.

The investigating officer stated that following the suspects' statements, investigators questioned Pinky at the women's prison. According to the charge sheet, she allegedly admitted to operating the narcotics network and identified herself as its leader. Based on these alleged disclosures, she was also formally arrested in this case.

The charge sheet further states that co-accused Nasir confirmed that Anmol alias Pinky is his biological sister.

According to the interim charge sheet, Pinky had reportedly left her family home after a dispute and moved to Lahore. The case against the accused was originally registered on November 18, 2018.

The interim charge sheet lists 14 prosecution witnesses, including Investigating Officer Inspector Mansoor.
