Four wedding guests die after jeep plunges into Neelum River

Four individuals lost their lives when a jeep fell into the Neelum River in the vicinity of Nagdar Kinari in Uthmuqam on Tuesday.

Local rescue sources reported that the jeep submerged in the river, complicating their rescue efforts.

Nevertheless, the bodies of the deceased have been recovered from the water. According to rescue officials, all victims were identified as residents of Mansehra.

The officials further stated that the jeep was part of a wedding procession en route to Changaan from Mansehra.

In October, at least two people were killed and three other sustained injuries when a jeep plunged into a deep ravine in Neelum.

According to details, the accident occurred in Jura Sathran area where a jeep fell into a gorge when the driver lost control of the vehicle, killing a man and a woman on the spot and injuring three others.
