Head of Religious Affairs at the Two Holy Mosques, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, urged people to remain respectful during their visit to the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) grave in Madinah.

The official X account of the news publication Inside The Haramain shared Al-Sudais’ advice, in which he quoted a Quranic verse to remind people of the respect and sanctity of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) grave.

Al-Sudais emphasised that the Prophet Muhammad’s “sanctity in his departure is the same as his sanctity when he was present.”

He also referenced a verse from Surah Al-Hujurat in the Holy Quran, which states: “Indeed, those who lower their voices in the presence of the Messenger of Allah – those are the ones whose hearts Allah has tested for piety. For them is forgiveness and a great reward.”

Furthermore, Al-Sudais advised people to make the most of their visit by praying inside the Prophet’s Mosque, as it multiplies the rewards and blessings of thousands of prayers prayed elsewhere.
