A Karachi court on Friday acquitted Natasha Danish in a drug case related to the August 2024 Karsaz road accident, citing insufficient evidence against her.
Danish was facing charges in the case following the road accident in Karachi’s Karsaz area on August 19, 2024.
According to the case details, a speeding Toyota Land Cruiser driven by Danish struck three motorcycles and another car on Karsaz Road.
The crash resulted in the deaths of 60-year-old Imran Arif and his 22-year-old daughter, Amna, while three other people were injured.
The court, however, acquitted Danish in the drug case after finding that the prosecution had failed to provide sufficient evidence to establish the charge.
