Karachi police seek arrest of alleged drug dealer Pinky’s brothers, ex-husbands

The South Zone police in Karachi have sought permission from the Sindh government to send a police team to Punjab for the arrest of 15 co-suspects linked to two cases involving alleged drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky.
In a letter issued on Thursday, South Zone Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Syed Asad Raza asked Karachi Additional Inspector General (AIG) Azad Khan to forward a request from the South SP Investigation to the Home Department for approval, according to a report.
According to police documents, the list of suspects includes Anmol’s former husband, Muhammad Akram, who investigators described as a facilitator, as well as another ex-husband, Nasir Ali Khan, who was identified as an alleged drug supplier.
Police also named Anmol’s brother, Muhammad Nasir Bux, as a manager in the network, while another brother, Shaukat Bux, was described as a “mule” involved in transporting narcotics.
Two women, Beesal Emika alias Anna and Humaira Chinonso Solomon, were identified by investigators as alleged key links between Pinky and an international drug trafficking network.
Authorities also named nine alleged drug carriers in the case, including Faraz Mehmood Yaqoob, Muhammad Amin Khan Khanju, Ghulam Mustafa Ibrahim, Sajjad Hussain, Zafar Iqbal, Qazi Muhammad Asif, Sohail Mushtaq, Waris Khan, and Muhammad Zahid Noor.
Police said efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects as investigations into the alleged drug trafficking network continue.
