Karachi is likely to experience partly cloudy weather, with drizzle and light rain expected over the next 24 hours, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The city’s maximum temperature is forecast to remain between 31°C and 33°C, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.9°C.
Humidity levels are at 81 percent, with sea breezes blowing at a speed of 11 kilometers per hour.
The weather watchdog has predicted showers in Sukkur, Larkana, and Naseerabad. In addition, rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms is likely at a few places in Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir.
Earlier, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) forecast heavy rainfall in Karachi and Hyderabad between August 24 and 28, warning of possible urban flooding.

The spell of torrential rain that began on August 19 had already wreaked havoc across Karachi, submerging streets, disrupting traffic, and leaving citizens stranded for hours. Commuters, including office workers and students, faced severe hardship in reaching their destinations.
At least 17 people lost their lives in rain-related incidents, while prolonged power outages added to the misery. Many areas remained without electricity for hours as K-Electric failed to restore supply, leaving residents to endure an entire day without power.
