Malkoo refutes rumours of his arrest after "Qaidi No 804" performance

Malkoo has rebutted the rumours of his arrest in Sargodha’s Lok Mela after performing on the “Qaidi No 804” song.

A video along with the headlines circulated on social media two days back in which it was quoted that a singer, Malkoo was arrested while he performed the song “Qaidi No 804,” directly referencing the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan, in Sargodha.

Citing the fake news, the singer himself came up with a video clarification on the microblogging platform, “There’s a ridiculous news circulating over the social media, I am sitting at my farmhouse,” He further rotates his camera to show the farmhouse as well.

He conveyed that his newly released song ‘Nak da koka’ is trending number one, not only in Pakistan but around the world, so now people are circulating fake news due to ‘Jealousy.’

Furthermore, in the video the police were safe-guarding him, which was misinterpreted as he was arrested.
