Engineer Zia-ur-Rehman, brother of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, lashed out at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for accusing his brother of winning the election through rigging.
The remarks came after CM Gandapur challenged Maulana Fazlur Rehman to contest the election again to prove the legitimacy of his win. In response, Zia-ur-Rehman turned the tables and challenged Gandapur’s brother to face him in a re-election to determine the real winner.
He also accused Ali Amin Gandapur of dividing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and speaking against former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, for his own political survival.
