May 9 convicts admit receiving 'training to attack' military installations at Zaman Park

Confessional statements from those convicted for their involvement in the May 9 attacks have emerged.
One accused, Jan Muhammad Khan, admitted to wearing a military uniform shirt, making a video, and later burning the shirt.
Another accused, Shan, stated that he vandalized Jinnah House under the incitement of political leaders following the arrest of PTI's founding leader.
Dawood Khan confessed that he attacked Jinnah House at the instigation of Yasmin Rashid and Hassan Niazi.
Accused Hasher admitted to participating in the attack on Jinnah House on May 9, claiming the attack was planned at Zaman Park under the leadership of Yasmin Rashid.
Similarly, Aashiq Khan revealed that he received training for the attacks at Zaman Park.
Military courts have sentenced 25 individuals involved in the May 9 riots, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Saturday.
The suspects were accused of attacking state installations and engaging in violence and vandalism during protest after the arrest of the former prime minister Imran Khan in 2023.
