Mir Raza Ali's father rejects suicide claims, alleges murder

The mystery surrounding the death of Mir Raza Ali Khan, a resident of Pakistan Employees Cooperative Housing Society (PECHS), Karachi, remains unresolved, while his father has raised objections over the medical report.

Speaking to Geo News, Mir Raza Ali’s father, Hussain Raza, claimed that his son was murdered and that his death was being portrayed as a suicide.

He alleged that his son’s face, body, and fingerprints were burned, and claimed that he was shot from behind.

Hussain Raza questioned why the medical report only mentioned a gunshot injury and did not include any details regarding alleged torture or physical assault.

He said his son went missing on July 28, while his body was recovered on July 29, questioning where he had been during the intervening 24 hours.

He added that Mir Raza had spoken to his sister before leaving home on July 28.

The grieving father said a taxi driver had informed the family that Mir Raza appeared happy during the ride and had played songs in the vehicle.

He appealed to senior authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the case.
