Pak-Saudi pact signed for Holy Quran translation and publication

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia reached an agreement to collaborate on the publication and translation of the Holy Quran. The deal aims to promote comprehensive Islamic knowledge.
Saudi Ministry of Religion Affairs announced on X that the both countries inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the publication and translation of the Holy Quran.
“The Ministry of Islamic Affairs signs a memorandum of understanding with the Pakistani Ministry of Religious Affairs.”
Saudi Arabia's state-run news agency stated that “the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs Sheikh Dr Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheik, signed a MoU in Jeddah for cooperation in the fields of Islamic affairs with the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Pakistan.”
“The memorandum stipulated cooperation in the field of advocacy, training preachers, introducing Islam, demonstrating its virtues and moderation, and clarifying its position on contemporary issues,” the news agency reported.
The memorandum addressed several key areas, including the printing, publishing, and translation of the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah.
It also focused on organising mosques, training preachers and imams, and exchanging technical and architectural expertise for building and maintaining mosques.
Additionally, the memorandum emphasised the importance of reviving Islamic heritage, publishing Islamic literature and studies, and collecting texts and manuscripts
Previously, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Saudi Airlines signed an agreement for the Hajj flight operation.
According to the agreement, Saudi Airlines will provide travel facilities for 35,000 Pakistani government Hajj pilgrims to and from Saudi Arabia.

Previously, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Saudi Airlines signed an agreement for the Hajj flight operation.
According to the agreement, Saudi Airlines will provide travel facilities for 35,000 Pakistani government Hajj pilgrims to and from Saudi Arabia.
