PIA offers 15% discount on international flights

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a limited-time 15% discount on its Lahore–Paris route, offering reduced fares for international travelers. The discount applies to tickets purchased by June 9, 2025, for travel between June 18 and July 2.

According to a PIA spokesperson, the initiative aims to provide better value for passengers and boost traffic on one of the airline’s key European routes.

The announcement comes ahead of the launch of direct weekly flights from Lahore to Paris, starting June 18. PIA already operates two weekly flights from Islamabad to the French capital.

The new route is expected to enhance connectivity and contribute to Pakistan’s foreign exchange earnings. Officials say the airline’s international operations have gained momentum following the resumption of flights to the European Union, including Paris, after successful negotiations with the EU Aviation Safety Agency.

PIA has reported operating profits since March 2024, according to Parliamentary Secretary Zeb Jaffar. Talks with UK aviation authorities and Turkish Airlines are ongoing as part of efforts to expand the airline’s global network and improve financial performance.
