The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain in several parts of Sindh starting Monday and continuing over the next three days as monsoon winds continue to enter the region.
According to the PMD, monsoon currents are actively penetrating most areas of Sindh, which are likely to bring scattered rain and thunderstorms.
Cities expected to receive rain included Jacobabad, Kashmore, Ghotki, Qambar Shahdadkot, Sukkur, Larkana, Tharparkar, and Umerkot.
In southern districts such as Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Jamshoro, and Karachi, light rain or drizzle may occur at isolated locations during this period.

The Met Office advised residents to stay updated with weather alerts, particularly in areas prone to urban flooding or water accumulation.
For Karachi, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy and humid over the next three days. The temperature in the city is likely to range between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius, with high humidity levels possibly making conditions feel warmer.
The PMD also urged local authorities and citizens to take precautionary measures, especially in northern and central Sindh, where rainfall could be more intense. Farmers have been advised to plan irrigation and other agricultural activities accordingly.
As monsoon activity have increased, authorities are on alert for any potential disruptions in low-lying areas.
