Tremors were felt across Islamabad and various cities in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) as a second earthquake hit the region within a week.
The International Seismological Center reported that the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.9 and originated at a depth of 69 kilometers.
The earthquake was felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Toba Tek Singh, Chiniot, Okara, Peshawar, Mansehra, Hazara Division, Swat, Nowshera, Malakand, Lower Dir, Abbottabad, Shangla, Karak, Haripur, and surrounding areas.
