Shikarpur police have recovered 21 people who were being sent 'illegally' to Dubai by human traffickers after luring them with fake jobs.

According to Larkana Times report, SSP Shikarpur Doctor Muhammad Umar raided the katcha area of Khanpur on information about the human trafficking of 21 people via van.

The police after an 'encounter' with the traffickers recovered the people, while the accused reportedly fled the scene.

Earlier, a kidney was allegedly removed from youth after being lured into a job offer at a hospital in Lahore.

According to the victim’s father, some officials of the Lahore General Hospital allegedly lured his son, 20, with a job offer at the hospital. They claimed that they would arrange a ‘driver’s job’ for his son at the hospital, he added.

He was asked to have clinical tests done because they were required for his job and during the process his kidney was stolen, he alleged.
