Karachi: Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori has announced that he will serve biryani to the protesters participating in Jamaat-e-Islami's ongoing sit-in in Karachi.

In his statement, Governor Tessori said that the protesters would be treated to biryani, and he emphasized that this gesture would be funded from his personal resources, not public taxes.

He stated, "The protesters are my guests and residents of Sindh; it is my duty to serve them." He also encouraged the young protesters to register for IT courses offered by the Governor's office.

Governor Tessori added that to make Pakistan a global power, people should focus on learning technology rather than protesting.

He also mentioned that those unable to go to work due to the sit-in could receive free rations for their families.

It is worth noting that yesterday, Governor Sindh also served tea to Jamaat-e-Islami workers at the protest.

This gesture follows a similar act of hospitality from the previous day, when Governor Tessori served tea to the Jamaat-e-Islami workers at the protest site.

His actions appear to be part of a broader strategy to maintain a peaceful and respectful dialogue with the protesters, emphasizing service and support rather than confrontation.

This approach has been received with mixed reactions, as some see it as a genuine attempt to connect with the public, while others view it as a symbolic gesture lacking in substantive action.
