Naseem Akhtar, a woman from Punjab, devoted 32 years of her life to hand-stitching a complete manuscript of the Holy Quran after tireless effort and unwavering dedication.
In a previous interview, Naseem revealed that her dream of creating an embroidered Quran began before her marriage. However, limited resources forced her to postpone her plan.
She finished this remarkable work in 2018.
After getting married in 1987, Naseem finally decided to fulfill her ambition. She ordered 12 pieces of fabric from Faisalabad, each measuring 45 inches wide and 25 yards long, and began her extraordinary journey.
Using 84 skeins of black and pink thread, Naseem carefully embroidered the Quran on the cloth, with each volume measuring 22 inches in length and 15 inches in width.
She revealed that every stitch was her own work, without any external assistance, and she took meticulous care to ensure the accuracy of the Arabic text.
