People in Pakistan often display their love for their political leaders in unique ways, and followers of Imran Khan, in particular, are known for introducing innovative trends that capture broad attention.
A TikToker and devoted follower of former prime minister Imran Khan created an AI-generated version of the PTI leader in his video, which looks incredibly realistic.
In the video, the TikToker proudly exclaims, "Imran Khan has come to meet me."

Despite Imran Khan's current incarceration, his followers remain active on social media, continuing to amplify their support and engagement.
The video demonstrates the compelling capabilities of ‘deepfake’ technology.
Deepfake videos are crafted by using advanced AI techniques to create realistic videos or audio recordings of people saying or doing things they never actually said or did.
The term "deepfake'' blends the concepts of "deep learning” and "fake". These videos involve manipulating or overlaying existing images or videos onto source images or videos, often replacing the original content with fabricated or AI-generated material.
The former chairperson of PTI, Imram Khan, was ousted from power through a parliamentary vote of no confidence in April 2022. Since then, he has been embroiled in a series of charges, which he contends are politically motivated tactics by the opposition to sideline him from the upcoming general elections on February 8.
In August, Khan was found guilty of illegally selling state gifts and sentenced to three years in prison. Despite being granted bail and having his sentence suspended, he remains incarcerated in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi for his involvement in the cipher case.
