Students at King Fahd University in Saudi Arabia managed to make ’biofuels ‘ from palm and rice waste.
According to an international media outlet report, student Marwan al-Ghamdi and his friends achieved the remarkable goal.
Ghamdi said he used the university for various projects that were to form the group, and began working on biofuels in mutual consultation.
Marwan al-Ghamdi said ’The feature of the project is that the saved food can be used through it while the palm broom can also be used.
An estimated 4 million tons of food is lost annually in the state that can be used in our project. This will make it possible to produce biofuels on a commercial scale.
The sudent group working on the project, Vail al-Qaytani, said ’ produced biofuels will be used in source duplication, especially in the air sector, which will control carbon emissions by up to 40%
