Celebrities demand justice after child's death

KARACHI: The Pakistani actor Ayesha Omar expressed her sadness and anger regarding the alleged rape and murder of a 1.5-year-old girl in Karachi. She revealed the news on her Instagram Stories, writing:

"We are in the lowest of lows. What is this society? What is this country? What do we really stand for? We collectively need to ask ourselves that and figure out a way forward. We cannot go on like this anymore."

This case of the rape and death of the toddler has raised uproar in Pakistan, with some celebrities demanding justice and taking strong actions against the offenders.

As per police reports, the girl was allegedly taken outside by her 17-year-old cousin in the name of a walk. She was then brought back in a critical state and died during the treatment at a hospital.

Actor Mishi Khan also condemned the crime in a video message, stating that crimes happen because the offenders do not receive strict punishments. She demanded the Sindh government to take strong actions against such criminals and crimes.

Actor Aiman Khan has reported the news on her Instagram stories, stating that it's the right time for the country to start punishing these rapists.

Also, Mariyam Nafees advised parents to never leave their children alone. Furthermore, Ahsan Khan also shared this case on Instagram, tagging the Sindh government in it and demanded justice.
