Young man abducted, forced to eat his hair in DHA Karachi brutal assault

Three individuals subjected a young man to severe torture in Karachi’s Defence area, leaving him with a broken leg, according to media reports.

The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Sahil Police Station. A young man and student named Ali Jaffery was abducted from Khayab-n-Bukhari by kidnappers and was taken to Do Darya for more than 2 hours.

The suspects subjected Ali to severe torture before striking him with a stick, resulting in a fractured leg. He was also allegedly forced to have his hair cut and made to verbally abuse himself.

He was tortured, disrespected and threatened to that extent and family is pressured not to take any legal action for further consequences.

The victim is reportedly in a state of severe shock and remains frightened following the incident. He has yet to file a formal complaint with police, while the three alleged suspects have reportedly gone into hiding.

After a video purportedly showing the alleged assault surfaced, DIG South Asad Raza took notice of the incident and ordered an investigation.

The DIG said the victim had been advised to register a case, while police were working to identify and trace the suspects.
