An investigation team formed by the Additional IG Sindh Javed Alam Odho concluded its probe into the deaths of two boys, Bilawal and Naqash, in a police encounter in Karachi’s Pirabad area on December 3.

The investigation report revealed that the entire incident, which occurred at the residence of the plaintiff Mubarak Shah, was orchestrated by a group of girls.

According to the findings, Laiba convinced her friend Bilawal and his companion Naqash to commit the robbery.

Mubarak Shah’s niece, Sabra, collaborated with the Laiba and her sisters who taught tuition at the house.

According to the police, Sabra was angry because her family did not treat her well financially.

The report stated that when Mubarak Shah and his family left the house, Sabra informed the girls, prompting Laiba to send Bilawal and Naqash to the house disguised in her burqa.

Laiba reportedly told them, "We wear this burqa daily; no one will recognise you."

However, a local shopkeeper noticed the boys' shoes and immediately alerted Mubarak Shah, who then informed the police and rushed home.

The encounter ended with the deaths of both boys. Police claimed that 19 bullets were fired during the confrontation, but investigators found no evidence of that many bullet impacts inside the house.
